2013 LeMay NASCAR Exhibit
| |I grew up watching NASCAR. I loved seeing the bumper to bumper banging action as the drivers plowed their way to win no matter the cost. But then the bumpers changed from metal to plastic. Once we lost the metal bumpers in NASCAR we also lost some of our car soul. I can trace the dying American car back to metal bumpers, when the metal left the soul left. We are now stuck with jellybean shaped, no soul having generic mobiles.
Seeing these cars in person was a real treat. The biggest surprise to me was the seats, check out what these guys used to sit in while they are banging around a track at almost 200mph! I have see go-karts with better seating!
